Meeting held at the MFA of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany

On June 24, 2026,  Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan, Bernd Hains, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the talks, the sides discussed current issues of cooperation and priority areas of Turkmen-German relations. Possibilities for further strengthening cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered.

The importance of existing mechanisms of bilateral cooperation was emphasized, including regular consultations and the work of relevant working groups, as well as interaction within international organizations.

At the end of the meeting, R.Meredov expressed gratitude to the German Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations and wished him continued success in his future professional activities.

The Ambassador, in turn, thanked the Turkmen side for its support and constructive cooperation during his mission.
