THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED THE EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

On June 28, 2023, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Vafo Alibek Niyatbekzoda.

Presenting his credentials, the diplomat conveyed to the head of state the words of greetings from the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who emphasized the special importance of strengthening the traditional ties of friendship and constructive cooperation with Turkmenistan.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the President conveyed his best wishes to the top leadership and people of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the productive nature of the recent state visit of the head of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan was noted, during which the commitment of the parties to further strengthen fruitful cooperation was confirmed.

As it was emphasized, in the political dialogue between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, special attention is paid to close cooperation within the framework of authoritative international and regional structures, such as the UN, OSCE, CIS and ECO.

The interaction between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan covers various areas, including politics, economy, culture, education, transport and other areas.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the Ambassador success in his responsible mission aimed at strengthening the constructive interstate dialogue.
