Thanking the UN Secretary-General for his kind words and returning his greetings and best wishes, Hero-Arkadag noted his pleasure at meeting with the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative on the eve of International Neutrality Day.

As previously noted, at Turkmenistan's initiative, 2025 has been declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust." As Hero-Arkadag noted, numerous events have been held in our country and abroad this year to mark these significant dates. An international forum will soon be held in Ashgabat, which will serve as the culminating event of this year, with the participation of high-level representatives from many countries. In this regard, confidence was expressed that this forum will become an effective platform for discussing key issues on the international agenda, sustainable development, and humanitarian cooperation.

The Head of the authoritative UN agency, Kaha Imnadze, in turn, emphasized that holding such a large-scale forum serves as clear evidence of consistent support for the constructive initiatives put forward by sovereign Turkmenistan in the interests of universal peace and prosperity.

Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is promoting a number of initiatives in maintaining peace, harnessing the potential of preventive diplomacy, ensuring energy security, developing transport and transit corridors, and protecting the environment, Hero-Arkadag noted with satisfaction that all of these initiatives have consistently received broad support from the international community.

In this context, Hero-Arkadag noted the significance of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's recent working visit to the United States to participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. During the anniversary session, the Head of state presented important initiatives aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and outlined guidelines for Turkmenistan's future engagement with the UN.

Continuing the meeting, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the important role of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in ensuring sustainable development and strengthening good-neighborly and friendly relations in the region.
