A meeting with the Ambassador of Georgia was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On 29 January 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan, Konstantin Sabiashvili.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation and emphasized the high level of political-diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The meeting addressed issues related to the expansion of trade and economic ties. The parties underscored their mutual interest in intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas.

In addition, the parties considered the prospects for developing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
