The President of Tajikistan received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

On March 4, 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Tangryguly Atahallyev, who arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the regular meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides noted the steady development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, and discussed topical issues of further expanding cooperation in the trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and scientific-technical spheres.

It was emphasized that the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission serve as an important mechanism for deepening bilateral partnership and strengthening traditional ties of friendship between the two states.
