The International Conference “Ynsanperwerlik ýoly”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in Ashgabat

On March 26, 2026, the Arçabil Hotel’s conference hall hosted the International Conference “Ynsanperwerlik ýoly” in a hybrid format, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.

The forum, which focused on pressing contemporary issues, was attended by leaders of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in our country. Additionally, delegates from Red Crescent societies of foreign nations joined the conference via video link.

During the event, a wide range of cooperation issues with major international organizations was reviewed, primarily with the National Red Crescent Societies of various countries, the ICRC, and the IFRC. It was noted that joint efforts with these structures contribute to enhancing the expertise of staff and volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and expand opportunities for knowledge exchange.

As highlighted in the delegates' speeches, the activities of the National Red Crescent Societies align with the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: humanity, independence, and voluntary service.

Participants of the International Conference "Ynsanperwerlik ýoly" expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, for the high level of organization of the event, pledging to make every effort to implement the proposed initiatives in accordance with modern realities.
