A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan

On May 25, 2026, a meeting took place between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan A. Gurbanov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan A. Madmarov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The interlocutors noted the intensification of cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian areas. In particular, the importance of visits at the highest and high levels in strengthening interstate dialogue was emphasized.

An exchange of views took place on the further development of cooperation both in bilateral format and within international organizations.

The importance of holding joint events contributing to the strengthening of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries was underlined.
