CEO of Çalık Holding informs President of Turkmenistan on the progress in implementing a number of projects

In frames of a working trip to the Balkan velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received CEO of Çalık Holding group of companies Ahmet Çalık.

Thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the businessman congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the significant event - the start of construction of gas turbine power units at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

Wishing the President of Turkmenistan good health and success in his versatile activity, the guest expressed belief in that the international community highly appreciated the achievements of Turkmenistan, which demonstrates the rapid paces of development.

As noted, the “open door” policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, high rates of economic growth, large-scale programmes for the development of the industrial sector, a favorable investment climate provide wide opportunities for enhancing partnership with foreign business circles and attracting world experience in many areas, primarily in knowledge-intensive and high-tech industries.

Underlining the fruitful character of relations between Turkey and Turkmenistan, bounded with the ties of friendship, fraternity as well as historical and cultural affinity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dwelled upon the activity of the Turkish company on the Turkmen market.

In this context, the Turkmen leader focused on increasing the efficiency of the holding's participation in the implementation of large-scale mutually beneficial projects.

Underlining the importance of the largest energy pipeline - the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, as well as the TAP power transmission line, the construction of which was entrusted to Çalık Holding, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the CEO of the company to complete all works at the high level within the target time frame.

Noting that it is a great honor for his company to continue long-term cooperation, participating in the implementation of large-scale transformation programmes, carried out in our country, the Turkish businessman reported on the progress in implementing a number of joint projects.

Commenting on the report, the President once again focused on the importance of high quality of construction works and completion of works within timeframes stipulated by the contracts.

At the end of the meeting, Ahmet Çalık assured the President of Turkmenistan that his company would continue taking the most responsible approach to fulfillment of partnership obligations.
