Georgian students participated in an International competition held in Turkmenistan
From 11 to 13 May 2026, the III International Competition "International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This creative contest brought together participants from nine countries: Georgia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the People's Republic of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. More than 40 international representatives from 13 leading universities registered to compete, alongside 117 talented students from Turkmenistan's higher educational institutions. Such a diverse composition highlights the high relevance of the competition’s theme, which is dedicated to the key issues of modern times.
Students of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of Georgian Technical University performed successfully in the competition, securing top positions: Lasha Meskhi was awarded first place, and Nika Nadaraia took third place.
The participants of the international event expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Hero-Arkadag for the opportunity to go on interesting and educational excursions as part of the cultural program. The contestants also highly praised the level of organization of the intellectual competition, emphasizing its importance in finding effective solutions to the pressing problems of modern times.
