TBILISI HOSTED EQUESTRIAN COMPETITIONS IN SHOW JUMPING

On April 16, 2016, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia with the assistance of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Equestrian Federation of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized equestrian competitions in show jumping at the Tbilisi race course with the participation of Georgian athletes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and the announcement in 2016 the "Year of honoring the heritage and transforming the Motherland".

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia D.Muratov addressed to the participants of the equestrian competition with a welcoming speech and then the Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Sh.Gogeladze and Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation of Georgia L.Gachechiladze congratulated Turkmen people on the 25th anniversary of Independence of the country and expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia for the idea of ​​organizing and conducting competitions in show jumping.

At the end of the equestrian jumping competitions the horse show was organized with the active participation of the private management of the race course and horse-governmental organizations for the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations accredited in Georgia as well as for the representatives of the ministries and departments of Georgia. 

 For active participation and assistance in the conduct of the event, representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and the Equestrian Federation of Georgia were awarded with memorable gifts by the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
