The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a Minifootball Tournament, dedicated to the month of mass sports events

On April 21, 2019, at the Olympic complex in Tbilisi the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a Minifootball Tournament, dedicated to the month of mass sports activities and socio-cultural events.

Representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia, representatives of the media and the citizens of Turkmenistan participated in this tournament.

Before the start of the tournament, it was noted that 2019 is held under the motto “Turkmenistan - the Home of Prosperity”. The participants were informed about the numerous sports events, which are annually held in Turkmenistan from 5 April till 5 May within the month of mass sports, athletic, social and cultural events. It was underlined that thanks to the concerns of the President of Turkmenistan, a lot of work is being done in the country to actively promote the principles of healthy lifestyle, popularize and develop physical culture and sports, strengthen international cooperation in this field.

 At the end of the tournament, the winners were awarded with prizes.
