Round table dedicated to the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan held in Georgia

On the 17th of April 2020, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia organized a round table through the videoconferencing dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.

The representatives of such TV channels as “TV24” and “Objective,”  “Georgian Business Consulting Group” publishing group,  “News Day Georgia” news agency, “Mnogonasionalnaya Gruziya,” “Svobodnaya Gruziya” and “Resonance” newspapers, as well as other leading mass media of Georgia took part in the event.

During the round table, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia told to the participants about the history of Neutrality policy of the country and its role in strengthening international and regional stability and security, as well as the significance of cooperation with the UN and its agencies in the process of sustaining overall peace and development.   

The participants noted the valuable input of the positive Neutrality policy of Turkmenistan in the promotion of universal values and voiced a number of international initiatives proposed by Turkmenistan.   

The participants were informed about the preparation to the International Conference «Policy of Neutrality and its importance in ensuring international peace, security and sustainable development» planned for December of current year in Ashgabat.

In the end of the round table, the participants viewed the video film dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
